One of the common installations our Solaready Team does is the 6 kW Solar Grid Tie System.

Our recent installation in Ayala Alabang Village, Muntinlupa is proof that solar energy is becoming a must-have for every homeowner.

Surely, you must have a lot of questions regarding renewable energy, especially a 6 kW Grid Tie System. We answered some of the most intriguing questions to help you understand solar power better:
What is a 6 kW Solar System?
A 6 kW solar grid tie system can produce an estimated 400 to 1,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) of alternating current (AC) power per month.
How much space do I need for a 6kW system?
Based on a panel measuring approximately 1.8 metres x 1 metre, around 29 square metres of suitable rooftop will be required for a 6kW solar power system installation (or a bit more than 32 square metres for 6.6kW). Here’s a general idea of how much space 6kW occupies, based on 370 watt panels.
That will depend on the size (output) of the solar panels used in the installation. Just as an example, if 370 watt panels are used, then a 6kW solar system will consist of 16 modules, which is a little under 6kW – or 18 for a 6.6kW array (a little over).
How long can a 6kW system installation last?
It can last for 2 days depending on your installer’s working hours and your home location. Pro tip: It’s more efficient to schedule your installation on a weekend.
